The Rotary Clubs of Mullica Hill and Glassoro Sunrise host an Annual Veterans' Picnic. This year the event will be held on Oct 2, 2010 from 1 PM - 5 PM at the 4 H Fairgrounds in Mullica Hill, NJ located on Rte 77. I just found your site and I wanted to let you know that my grandfather served with the 4th Cavalry Group and would of been attached to the 9th Division. Do you have any information regarding the units history with the 4th, I am in the midst of piecing together the puzzle known as the 2+ years he served in the war. Really enjoyed checking out your site! I served with 3/60 9th Dv. (B Co.)"Earthpigs" back in 1983-85, Ft.Lewis WA. Although not an reenactor myself I'm a huge military history buff.Do you guys know of any good histories (books) on the 9th Dv. in WWII?
